    Mellencamp's marriage officially over

    Rocker John Mellencamp is once again a single man after his divorce from model Elaine Irwin was finalized.

    The veteran musician, 59, split from Irwin, 41, last year and filed papers in Indiana to legally end their 18-year marriage in January.

    The former couple reached "an amicable settlement" regarding the separation of property and will share joint legal custody of their two sons, Hud, 17, and Speck, 16, who will live primarily with their mother.

    It is Mellencamp's third divorce. He is currently dating actress Meg Ryan.
