Virginia Contractor Pleads Guilty to Kickback Scheme and Subscribing to a False Tax Return
WASHINGTON – Wright Brothers Construction Co., of Charleston, Tenn., and the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) have agreed to pay a $1.5 million penalty and spend more than $1.3 million to offset environmental damages to resolve alleged violations of the Clean Water Act (CWA), the Department of Justice and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced today.
